Job summary

PwC Singapore is seeking Managers and Senior Managers to join the Financial Services Tax (FS Tax) team. You will advise leading financial institutions and drive tax compliance and advisory engagements across a portfolio of clients.

You will build trusted client relationships, collaborate with PwC’s global network on regional projects, and contribute to business development while mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• Degree in any discipline and/or a relevant postgraduate or professional qualification in Accounting, Tax, Business, Economics, Law, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in Singapore corporate tax compliance and/or advisory within the financial services sector: Manager ~5–7 years; Senior Manager ~8+ years.
• Strong technical tax expertise with experience in corporate tax compliance and/or advisory.
• Ability to simplify complex tax issues into practical, commercially focused solutions.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and project management capabilities.
• Commercial acumen, client-focused mindset and adaptability to a dynamic environment.
• SCTP accreditation is advantageous and we will also consider candidates with strong tax foundations in other common law jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Advise leading financial institutions, banks, fund managers, insurers, REITs, family offices and investment funds on a wide range of tax matters.
• Lead tax compliance and advisory engagements across a portfolio of clients, ensuring excellence in service delivery, technical quality, and project execution.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and provide commercially practical solutions to complex tax issues.
• Collaborate with specialists across PwC’s global network on regional and international projects.
• Identify growth opportunities and contribute to business development initiatives, proposals and thought leadership.
• Coach and mentor junior team members and contribute to a high-performing team culture.
• Develop innovative tax products and solutions that deliver real business value to our clients.
• Stay abreast of tax, regulatory, and industry developments, providing practical insights and recommendations to clients.
