Job description

Contract Duration: 6 months

Scope of work:

• Build dynamic, responsive, and mobile-first web applications
• Follow best practices in UI coding, including CSS in JS, styled components, custom hooks, and state management
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code while adhering to modern JavaScript standards and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and back-end engineers, to deliver pixel-perfect, functional, and responsive interfaces
• Work closely with back-end engineers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow between the front and back end

Skillset & Experience

• Tertiary education in relevant fields is preferred
• Skilled in modern web application technology stack such as Next.js, Node.js
• Has exposure to Singapore Government Tech Stack such as SHIP/HATS, Optical, CrowdTask etc
• Experienced in development and deployment on Government Commercial Cloud (GCC 2.0) such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experienced in Loosely Coupled Architecture and Application Integration Patterns, such as Microservices Architecture, with the ability to design and architect scalable and resilient system
• Experienced in containerisation technologies, such as Docker and AWS ECS
• Has exposure to infrastructure provision tools, such as Terraform
