Role: Staff Software Engineer – Front End/ Lead

MUST have skills:

Architecture (System Design) experience is a must

Prefer to have experience working with product companies

React, javascript, typescript, front end heavy experience is required

Project Description:

Project is centered on building advanced customer-facing AI-powered bots that elevate user experiences across multiple platforms.

Skills:

• At least 8 years of experience of extensive background in front-end development, working with client-side frameworks on large-scale applications (React is highly preferred).
• Strong core front-end skill set in JavaScript and the TypeScript ecosystem.
• Strong architecture skills and drive decision-making in the team.
• Experience working with component libraries.
• Strong product sense and a passion for client-side performance optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to drive changes and impact across various teams.
• Love collaborating via code reviews and architecture discussions and is motivated to improve their teammates’ productivity.
• Proactively leads improvement within their area, consistently driving positive change rather than just executing assigned tasks.
• Delivers impact that extends beyond their immediate team, contributing to cross-team initiatives, code reviews, and broader technical solutions while primarily working within a single scrum team.

It’s Great if you have:

• Machine Learning, GPT, prompt engineering and other AI project experience
• Candidates with JVM language experience – Scala/Kotlin/Java and Python would be preferred

Typical Day to Day Responsibilities

• Drives engineering excellence; owns and delivers scalable system architecture. Expert in core components, making data-backed technical decisions at client’s scale.
• Takes charge of complex technical contributions. Acts as a technical advocate and leads cross-team projects and decisions.
• Tackles complex problems using a data-driven approach. Builds metrics and analyzes data to deliver business value.
• Grows team members through practical mentorship. Guides engineers via code reviews, technical direction, and teaching best approaches to work.
• Acts as a go-to person; able to communicate clearly with all stakeholders from Junior Engineer to CTO.
