(Roles and Responsibilities)

The Software Developer (“Developer”) is a product development position that collaborates closely across company functions to achieve Mesh Bio’s business objectives. The Developer would work with other developers and commercial staff to translate business objectives, product development strategies, customer requirements into Mesh Bio’s products and services.

• Develop production code while maintaining highest standards and practices of software development
• Implement and maintain systems and software architecture for data ingestion, storage, processing, and visualization under medical device and HIPAA design controls
• Ensure that development is performed with clean, well-commented, and well-tested code that follows data governance policies
• Implement security methods for user and device authentication and authorization, as well as robust encryption and other security mechanisms
• Provide development and production status updates to project leaders
• Learn new programming languages and tools as needed especially those in our tech stack.

Job Requirements:

• Min Bachelor’s degree in STEM
• 2-5 years prior experience in a software development or algorithm R&D
• Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
• Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional areas
• Ability to multi-task and manage tasks with varying priorities
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning methods.
• Preference for those who have a good grasp of 1 or more of the following in our tech stack:
• Javascript with HTML/CSS, NativeScript
• Python & Django/Flask
• Prolog
• Swift for cross-platform development
• Dart & Flutter
• Multi-Cloud setup with Terraform.io and Serverless.com (Yaml)
• Responsible, pro-active technical lead to develop new features, maintaining/optimizing legacy code base of Django web application in healthcare industry.

Programming languages: JavaScript, Python3.

Stacks: Django MVT, MongoDB, Ansible. AWS.

Expectations:

- Developing/Maintaining Django Web applications using Python, Vanilla JS, HTML and CSS emphasized on Vanilla JS.

- Excellent in JS.

- Excellent in Python3.

- Good English communication.

- Good understanding of Microservices and Cloud Architecture.

- Have experience working with non-SQL databases.

- Experienced with building scalable RESTFUL APIs.

- Experienced in manipulating data, rendering HTML elements, building reusable/maintainable code using Vanilla JS.

- Proficient in Django MVT frameworks, and its file structure, routing, and mechanism.

- Proficient in git, and versioning controls tools set.
