Frontend Developer

MyrLabs is an A*STAR spin-off that creates cutting edge hardware and algorithms. The MyrLabs team consists of driven and multi-disciplinary engineers dedicated to bringing game-breaking solutions for our partners by innovating at the PCB, firmware, and software levels. We work on problems that academia fears to, cannot, or will not address. These are problems that are difficult and require multi-disciplinary efforts. Our approach focuses on the use of non-mainstream techniques to spark creativity and to solve problems in ways that are not seen before.

Job Brief

We are looking for Frontend Developers to join us. You would start out under the guidance of more experienced engineers to design and create interfaces that are used across our product lines. Depending on your preference and expertise, your focus may be on web or mobile applications. Having expertise across multiple disciplines is highly encouraged in MyrLabs and we would support you with the opportunities to be cross-trained. The work that you do will be used in publicly accessible environments and be used to address real-world needs.

Responsibilities

1. Work with senior software engineers to design and implement sensible interfaces for our robots and applications
2. Optimise the performance of existing applications on different platforms
3. Participate in the continued development across our product lines

Technical Requirements

• Relevant Bachelors or Masters in the field of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, OR proof of exceptional talent.
• Familiarity with one or more of the following: React, React-Native, NextJS

Nice to Haves

• Experience with UI / UX Design
• Familiarity with .NET, Swift and/or Kotlin
• Familiarity with Unity
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD
• Familiarity with AWS
