Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated Global Markets IT FO Application and Production Support Analyst to join the Front Office Support team responsible for the electronic trading tools across the Rates and Credit business in APAC.

• This is a 12-month contract to start with a potential to extend based on the individual's performance.

This role involves direct interaction with traders, sales, IT, and research teams to ensure smooth operation of pricing and trading platforms. The analyst will support RFQ, Streaming, and Order flows for Swaps and Bonds, as well as multi-asset prices used across FX and Risk domains, in a global “Follow the Sun” support model.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and support trading applications including market access platforms (Bloomberg, Tradeweb, Market Axess, etc.)
• Manage P1/P2 incidents end-to-end and coordinate with global teams for resolution and handover
• Perform daily application monitoring, system administration, and issue troubleshooting
• Create and maintain documentation (wikis, support guides, release notes)
• Participate in functional testing, release validation, and client onboarding projects
• Drive automation and continuous improvement in incident detection and recovery

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Good understanding of Rates products and electronic trading workflows
• Strong in SQL (PL/SQL), Excel VBA, and scripting (Python preferred)
• Comfortable working on both Windows and Unix environments
• Familiar with Autosys, Geneos, FIX, and market data protocols
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline

Nice to Have:

• Experience with ION Trading systems or trading floor environments
• Exposure to ITIL frameworks and incident/problem management processes
• Basic knowledge of FX, Bonds, Swaps, and trade lifecycle
