A leading hotel in Singapore is seeking a Receptionist to provide exceptional guest service. Responsibilities include managing reservations, guest check-ins/outs, and addressing queries. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, experience in hospitality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Roles of Receptionist
- Offers all possible assistance to guests, address guest queries, concerns and complaints promptly.
- Familiar with and carries out the policies and procedures established by Hotel YAN and Government's Safety Management Measures
-Handle room reservations, cancellations and modifications accurately. Ensure that all guest information is recorded correctly in the hotel system.
- Perform all tasks assigned according to established standards and procedures: take messages upon request, handle guests check-in /check-out and calls, maintain equipment and facilities; report any maintenance problems to engineers on duty
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or the Management
- Coordinate with all other departments to ensure guest needs are met in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Singaporean/PR preferred
- Able to work on rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Ability to write and communicate in fluent English
- Ability to use organisation's current computer system
- Pleasant disposition with good interpersonal skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in a front office role in the hospitality industry
