Job summary

Qualcomm Singapore is seeking an experienced yield/Process Development Engineer to own Front-End yield performance, drive data-driven improvements, and collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and equipment teams. The role focuses on root-cause analysis, DOE-driven optimization, and successful industrialization of new technologies.

The ideal candidate has semiconductor wafer fabrication exposure, front-end integration experience, and strong analytical and cross-functional communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in semiconductor wafer fabrication or high-volume electronics manufacturing.
• Front-End semiconductor process integration experience preferred.
• Hands-on involvement with new technology introduction, process qualification, industrialization, manufacturing ramp-up, yield enhancement, or process control methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Own overall Front-End process yield performance and drive continuous yield improvement.
• Perform comprehensive wafer scrap analysis and identify root causes of yield loss through data-driven investigations.
• Partner with process module engineers, manufacturing, quality, and equipment teams to resolve yield excursions.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurrence of issues.
• Lead cross-functional investigations and improvement projects to enhance process capability and robustness.
• Capture lessons learned into knowledge databases for long-term sustainability.
• Design, execute, and analyze DoE to optimize process conditions and robust manufacturing windows.
• Support new technology introductions, process qualifications, and industrialization activities.
• Review engineering lot results and ensure smooth transition to volume production.
