Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc is seeking a Front End CPIE Process Integration (PI) MTS to drive yield improvement across DRAM/NAND fabrication. You will work across FEOL, MOL, CELL, and BEOL to implement optimal integration strategies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve top yield issues.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a process-related role in the semiconductor industry.
• Bachelor/Master/PhD in EE, Materials Engineering/Science, Physics, or Chemical Engineering.
• Good logical thinking and knowledge of semiconductor fabrication process flows; understanding of DRAM and NAND operation.
• Strong data-driven problem solving and presentation skills.
• Proven track record fixing structure and device-related issues; root cause analysis.

Front End CPIE Process Integration (PI) Member of Technical Staff (MTS)

Responsibilities

• Drive best-in-class product maturity including bits per wafer (yield), product grades (Repair Density and DPM) at fastest speed and cycle of learning.
• In-depth knowledge of processes across different loops or functions (FEOL, MOL, CELL, BEOL) to identify best optimum process integration solution; knowledge of product and circuit design will be a plus.
• Collaborate with YE, Device, RDA, Metrology team to resolve top yield issues, develop inline visibility to enable fast yield ramp and minimize excursion.
• Identify best known methods and business process from DRAM/NAND sites and drive alignment and standardization across the network.
• Travel to Micron sites as necessary for face‑to‑face collaboration.
• Integrate AI‑assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI‑enabled enhancements within scope of work.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a process‑related role in the semiconductor industry.
• Bachelor/Master/PhD in EE, Materials Engineering/Science, Physics, or Chemical Engineering.
• Good logical thinking and knowledge of semiconductor fabrication process flows; understanding of DRAM and NAND operation and structure to decipher parametric, probe, and qualitative data from front‑end and back‑end assembly processes.
• Good model‑based problem‑solving with data‑driven decision making and presentation skills.
• Proven track record fixing and tackling structure and device‑related issues, and addressing root cause.
• Good organizational capabilities and ability to work effectively; flexible with job responsibilities and willingness to assume added duties.
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer/co‑worker relationships; demonstrated teamwork with a focus on good team dynamics.
• Good multi‑tasking, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role‑appropriate AI literacy to use AI‑enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem‑solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes.
