Job description

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and user stories to define comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test data to ensure full test coverage.
• Evaluate applications even when documentation or feature requirements are incomplete, identifying potential gaps and issues.
• Execute QA test scenarios and test cases to validate that functionality meets requirements and business specifications.
• Detect, document, and communicate defects and risks through systematic or ad hoc testing, providing clear and timely reports.
• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and improve product quality.
• Understand issues from a customer perspective and recommend improvements to enhance user experience.
• Maintain high product quality and continuously improve testing processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of defect lifecycle management and defect tracking tools.
• Work independently and manage assigned projects effectively.
• Actively participate in daily stand-ups and retrospective meetings.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Experience analyzing software requirement specifications and defining test scenarios.
• Strong team player with a passion for learning new technologies, testing approaches, and tools.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality software.
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
• 1–2 years of software testing experience is advantageous.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium) and scripting languages (e.g., Python) is a plus.
