Qualifications

• A recognized degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) in Singapore.
• Experience working with children with developmental delays, disabilities, or special needs, in a one-to-one setting.
• Strong knowledge of child development, sensory integration, and occupational therapy interventions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate and patient approach.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate children's fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care abilities, and overall functional performance.
• Develop and implement individualised treatment plans addressing each child's needs and goals.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions focused on daily living skills, motor coordination, sensory integration, and play skills.
• Utilise evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques to engage children and promote participation in daily activities.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistent support and effective strategies across environments.
• Maintain accurate documentation of each child's progress and adapt therapy plans as needed.
• Stay updated on current trends and best practices in occupational therapy and SEN.
