Prolific is seeking experienced mechanical, electrical, and aerospace engineers to design and review simulation-led tasks. You will translate real engineering problems into precise briefs, write graders and reference solutions, and build the automated verification that checks results.

You will contribute to task creation, ensure robust modelling workflows, and clearly document engineering decisions while collaborating in a fast-paced freelance setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in design and simulation
• Strong fundamentals in mechanical, electrical or aerospace engineering
• Hands-on modelling, simulation and design projects
• Proficiency with open-source CAD/CFD/ME tools
• Ability to document assumptions and engineering decisions clearly

Responsibilities

• Turn real engineering problems into precise, measurable briefs
• Write graders and reference solutions for automated checks
• Create tasks and graders for AI-assisted design benchmarks
