Freelance Business Development Consultant (Bidding & Strategy)

We are a dynamic and growing company seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Consultant with a strong background in bidding, strategy formulation, and recruitment support. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in business development and will play a key role in shaping our company's growth strategy.

The candidate should have expertise in bidding platforms within the IT services sector, specifically for CMS platforms. They must be capable of developing strategies for teams of various sizes—small to large—while aligning with industry best practices for service-based businesses.

This role involves working directly with the Chief Executive to formulate strategies for the Lead Generation Team. Responsibilities will include conducting technical interviews for senior Lead Generation staff, developing high-level strategies for the entire bidding cycle, and optimizing bidding processes within the department to enhance overall productivity and individual performance.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop strategies to increase reply rates on bidding platforms.
  2. Create strategies to leverage new tools for increasing sales outside bidding platforms.
  3. Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion areas.
  4. Provide insights into industry trends and competitor activities.
  5. Recruitment & Support: Assist in hiring key business development personnel, conduct interviews, evaluate candidates for BD roles, and provide recommendations for building a strong sales and BD team.
Preferred Skills (Optional):
  • Experience with WordPress and Shopify bidding.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing.
