Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Data Scientist embedded within the Data Science and AI Division (DSAD) to support FAM 2.0 fraud analytics for public training grants. You will backfill backlog items, realign methodologies and build a technical dashboard for monitoring model performance, data drift and alert signals.

You will translate policy requirements into analytic features, enhance risk scenarios, and collaborate with engineers, programme teams and management to deliver

Qualifications

• Experience handling fraud or risk modelling challenges, including imbalanced data and evolving outcome labels.
• Experience designing or implementing production model-monitoring approaches, including data drift and alert thresholds.
• Experience building analytical dashboards using Tableau or equivalent platform.
• Experience with CI/CD, MLOps controls or deployment of analytical models.
• Experience with Spark or PySpark and enterprise data platforms (AWS Redshift and AWS Glue).
• Experience with graph analytics to identify related entities or coordinated patterns.
• Experience with datasets related to workforce, training, grants, claims or regulatory data.
• Prior Singapore public-sector engagements or familiarity with government data-classification requirements.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills with detail orientation.
• Ability to turn ambiguous requirements into clear assessment and implementation plans.
• Clear written and verbal communication for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review and recalibrate FAM 2.0 model methodologies and thresholds for backlog items, including back-testing and validation.
• Translate business requirements into changes to fraud-risk scenarios, indicators, features and thresholds.
• Build and enhance monitoring dashboards for model performance, data drift and concept drift.
• Assess new schemes' structures, eligibility rules and known fraud risks for coverage expansion.
• Maintain clear methodology, change records, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Produce reproducible code, analyses and documentation throughout the engagement.
