About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Fraud Analyst to join our team. You will play a crucial role in identifying, investigating, and preventing fraudulent activities. You will work closely with the Fraud Manager, Compliance Manager, Product Manager, and other stakeholders to ensure the integrity and security of our operations.


What You Will Do


Fraud Detection and Analysis:

  1. Monitor transactions and activities for suspicious patterns and potential fraud.
  2. Analyze data to identify trends and anomalies indicative of fraudulent activity.
  3. Utilize data querying tools (SQL) and other analytical software to extract and interpret relevant information.

Investigation Support:

  1. Assist in the investigation of suspected fraud cases by gathering and analyzing evidence.
  2. Document investigation findings and prepare reports for the Fraud Manager.
  3. Support the development of procedures and controls to mitigate identified fraud risks.

Reporting and Documentation:

  1. Maintain accurate records of fraud-related activities and investigations.
  2. Provide regular reports on fraud trends and potential risks.
  3. Assist in the preparation of materials for the Risk Committee.

Data Analysis and Tool Usage:

  1. Use SQL to query databases and extract relevant data for analysis.
  2. Utilize analytical tools and software to identify and assess fraud risks.
  3. Assist in the testing and implementation of fraud detection systems.

Risk Assessment Support:

  1. Assist in performing Fraud Risk Assessments on specific units, products, and processes.
  2. Contribute to the development of fraud risk training and awareness materials.

What We Are Looking For


  1. Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, computer science, or a related field.
  2. 1-3 years of experience in fraud analysis, risk analysis, or a related field, preferably in financial services or financial technology.
  3. Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis.
  4. Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Ability to identify and analyze patterns and trends.
  7. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  8. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
