Job Position: Fragrance Regulatory Executive

We are currently looking for a results-driven Fragrance Regulatory Executive with a strong track record in ensuring full compliance of fragrance products with global regulations while enabling smooth, timely market entry. Experienced in IFRA, REACH, and international safety standards, with proven ability to prepare accurate Safety Data Sheets (SDS), manage regulatory submissions, and advise cross-functional teams on compliance strategies. Recognized for balancing regulatory rigor with commercial priorities, supporting product innovation, reducing approval timelines, and protecting brand reputation in competitive global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Regulatory Strategy & Compliance

  • Lead regulatory compliance for all fragrance products and raw materials in accordance with IFRA Standards, EU REACH, EU Cosmetic Regulation, ASEAN Cosmetic Directive, US regulations, and other applicable laws.
  • Develop and maintain compliance frameworks to support new product development and existing product portfolio.

2. Technical Documentation & Data Management

  • Oversee the creation, review, and approval of SDS, IFRA Certificates, Allergen Statements, regulatory dossiers, and other compliance documentation.
  • Manage regulatory databases, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and version control.

3. Regulatory Intelligence & Risk Management

  • Track and interpret global regulatory changes, assessing impact on the company’s operations and products.
  • Provide risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies to ensure uninterrupted market access.

4. Stakeholder & Industry Engagement

  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities on compliance matters.
  • Represent the company in industry associations, working groups, or regulatory forums to stay ahead of trends and changes.

5. Internal Training & Support

  • Conduct training sessions for internal teams on regulatory requirements, IFRA updates, and labelling rules.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, QC, and Business Development team to integrate compliance into all stages of product lifecycle.

6. Audit & Inspection Readiness

  • Lead regulatory preparations for customer audits, certification bodies, and regulatory inspections.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, Regulatory Affairs, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of regulatory experience in fragrance, cosmetic, or chemical manufacturing.
  • Advanced knowledge of IFRA Standards, EU REACH, GHS, and other global fragrance regulations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience in SDS authoring software and regulatory databases preferred.
