Job summary

Brunel International S.E.A. Pte. Ltd is seeking a Senior Marine Engineer to support the Construction Manager and take charge of FPSO donor vessel construction, conversion, and integration in their absence.

You will bridge engineering and shipyard execution, lead design reviews for hull, marine, and outfitting deliverables, and ensure construction proceeds without design-related rework or cost overruns. The role requires extensive site presence at shipyards, coordination with engineering teams,

Qualifications

12+ years offshore/oil & gas or marine conversion experience.
Experience as Construction Manager or Deputy Construction Manager on FPSO/FSO or similar offshore conversion project.
Experience in Marine Design Engineering (design review, approval in principle, hull/marine systems).

Responsibilities

Lead design reviews of engineering packages for construction, including hull, piping, marine systems, and outfitting.
Coordinate with Engineering, shipyards, subcontractors, and stakeholders to minimise design-related variances.
Oversee shipyard progress, VO submissions, and readiness for Mechanical Completion.
Manage interfaces for Marine and topsides and monitor budgets and schedules.
