Job summary

Quantum Communications is seeking an FPGA / Electronics Engineer in Singapore to contribute to hardware for quantum‑secure communications. You will work on FPGA logic, PCB design and hardware integration within a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires hands-on FPGA and electronics experience, strong Verilog or VHDL skills, PCB bring‑up and fault finding, and a solid grasp of digital and analogue circuitry.

Qualifications

• Hands-on FPGA development and electronics design experience.
• Proficiency in Verilog or VHDL with simulation, verification and timing analysis.
• Experience with PCB design, board bring-up and fault finding.
• Understanding of digital interfaces, analogue circuitry and embedded systems.
• Proficiency with laboratory equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
• Experience with optoelectronics, photonics or communication systems is beneficial.
• Interest in quantum communications and secure technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop FPGA logic for hardware control, interfaces and data acquisition.
• Design and test electronic circuits and PCBs, including component selection and schematic development.
• Support board bring-up, debugging and hardware revisions.
• Integrate FPGA-based electronics with optical components, sensors and embedded software.
• Validate system performance using laboratory equipment and structured testing.
• Work closely with optics, firmware and systems engineers to deliver reliable hardware.
