Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in product control, FP&A, finance business partnering, preferably in financial services firms.
  • Strong understanding of P&L attribution, revenue/cost matching, and financial controls.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with data visualization or SQL is a plus.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
  • Confident communicator who can work with cross-functional teams.
  • Excited to step into a broader commercial finance role beyond back-office controls.

  • Reconcile actuals vs forecast, and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.

  • Drive budgeting and rolling forecasts across business units.
  • Prepare accurate and timely management reports, aligned with group reporting deadlines.
  • Be a key finance partner to sales, operations, and product teams.

WHAT TO EXPECT

You will assist on the day-to-day operations of the Finance team and this includes month-end closing and financial analysis. This role requires someone who is analytical and meticulous and will report to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Financial Performance & P&L Ownership

  • Take full ownership of P&L tracking by product, channel, or business line.

  • Analyze daily/monthly performance and explain key revenue/cost drivers.

  • Reconcile actuals vs forecast, and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.

Product & Channel Analysis

  • Perform margin and contribution analysis at product/segment level.

  • Support pricing decisions, cost allocations, and performance reviews.

  • Provide finance support for new product launches and strategic initiatives.

Financial Planning & Forecasting

  • Drive budgeting and rolling forecasts across business units.

  • Partner with leadership and product owners to align financial plans with strategy.

  • Assess financial risks and help implement mitigation plans.

Controls, Accuracy & Reporting

  • Ensure strong governance over revenue/cost recognition and allocations.

  • Prepare accurate and timely management reports, aligned with group reporting deadlines.

  • Build and improve internal controls and reporting processes.

Business Partnering & Strategic Finance

  • Be a key finance partner to sales, operations, and product teams.

  • Translate financial insights into action plans and commercial impact.

  • Act as the first line of finance support for senior decision makers.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

  • 3+ years of experience in product control, FP&A, finance business partnering, preferably in financial services firms
