Job description

The FP&A Manager for ASEAN group is responsible for overseeing the financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions within the region. This includes developing and managing budgets and forecasts, analyzing financial performance, and providing strategic financial insights to support regional decision making. The role is essential in ensuring that financial goals are met, risks are managed, and opportunities for growth and efficiency are identified. The FP&A Manager collaborates closely with regional leadership and cross-functional teams to drive financial excellence and align financial strategies with business objectives. Additionally, this position ensures compliance with local and corporate financial policies and fosters a culture of continuous improvement within the FP&A function.

Responsibilities:

1. Regional Management Consolidation:

  • Leading the consolidation of financial results and management reporting for the ASEAN region, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with corporate standards
  • Collaborating with country finance teams to ensure timely and accurate submission of financial data
  • Managing and consolidating annual budgets and periodic forecasts for the region
  • Developing financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives and business decisions
  • Monitoring and analyzing the subsidiaries financial performance, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to drive business performance

3. Management Reporting:

  • Preparing and distributing timely and accurate management reports, including monthly and quarterly financial reports for regional and corporate leadership
  • Ensuring compliance with corporate reporting requirements and timelines

4. Business Partnering:

  • Acting as a key finance partner to regional and country management teams, providing financial guidance and support. This includes annual review of audit findings and audited financial statements to ensure compliance with accounting standards and to facilitate the resolution of audit-related matter
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business performance and achieve financial target
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across the region
  • Leading and mentoring the FP&A Analyst, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Accounting
  • CPA or CA is preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 3 years in a managerial role involving regional consolidation and audit coordination
  • Experience in the ASEAN region is highly desirable

Competency:

  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insight
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
  • Highly energetic with a strong sense of ownership, dedicated to delivering results and committed to driving success
  • Organized, flexible and easily adaptable to changing conditions
  • High degree of proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint

Working location: Tuas
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7.45am to 4.30pm
