Job description

Looking for an FP&A Analyst to join a high-performing team, supporting digital store operations across Asia. This role is for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys working with data, and is passionate about driving operational excellence through financial insight. You will play a pivotal part in supporting business performance by partnering with internal stakeholders, managing key financial processes, and ensuring the smooth execution of regional initiatives.

What you'll do:

As a Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst, you will be instrumental in supporting the day-to-day operations of a dynamic digital store team operating across Asia. Your responsibilities will include developing comprehensive review processes to monitor key performance indicators, supporting stakeholders with capacity planning initiatives, overseeing detailed financial reporting tasks, and utilising your advanced Excel skills to provide insightful analysis. You will also play a crucial role in managing administrative functions such as headcount tracking, onboarding coordination for new hires or vendors, organising regular stakeholder meetings, maintaining business calendars, producing impactful presentation materials, arranging travel logistics, procuring essential equipment or supplies, and supporting morale-boosting events. Success in this position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational abilities, excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement across regions, and a genuine commitment to teamwork. Your efforts will directly contribute to operational excellence while helping drive revenue growth for the digital store throughout Asia.

  • Develop and maintain robust review processes for monitoring business performance, ensuring adherence to budgets, return on investment targets, and other critical metrics.
  • Support local stakeholders with capacity planning and business plan development to align with strategic objectives across multiple regions.
  • Oversee financial reporting activities including year planning support, budget tracking, forecasting, and collaborating closely with finance teams to ensure accuracy.
  • Utilise advanced Excel capabilities to manage complex datasets and create dashboards that synthesise information for actionable financial forecasts.
  • Manage department headcount information as well as coordinate space allocation and onboarding processes for new full-time employees and vendors.
  • Drive the rhythm of the business by organising monthly update calls with regional stakeholders, coordinating speakers, and ensuring effective communication flow.
  • Maintain the business calendar for the online retail team, scheduling meetings and reviews to keep all parties aligned on priorities.
  • Establish consistency in subsidiary business and operational reporting by coordinating with internal teams to deliver timely reporting initiatives.
  • Produce presentation decks as required for various meetings, ensuring clarity of information for decision-makers.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel schedules for the team, manage procurement of goods and services, and support morale events such as offsites.

What you bring:

To excel as a Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst in this role, your background should reflect hands-on experience managing multifaceted programmes within fast-evolving environments. Your proven ability to collaborate effectively across regional teams-particularly within Asia or APAC-will be invaluable as you navigate complex stakeholder landscapes. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential; you should feel comfortable handling intricate formulas, building pivot tables from scratch, visualising data trends clearly for non-technical audiences, and ideally have some exposure to PowerBI dashboard creation. Your analytical mindset will allow you to interpret large volumes of data accurately while identifying actionable insights that drive better business outcomes. In addition to technical expertise, your interpersonal strengths-such as clear communication style, empathy towards colleagues' needs across cultures or time zones-and your unwavering attention to detail will set you apart. The ability to juggle competing priorities without losing sight of deadlines or quality expectations is crucial for success here.

  • A minimum of 3-4 years' experience in business management roles involving programme coordination across multiple timelines and holding stakeholders accountable for deliverables.
  • A solid background in finance with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel including formula creation, pivot tables, data visualisation techniques.
  • Expertise in managing large datasets using Excel; familiarity with PowerBI as a user is essential while experience creating PowerBI dashboards would be highly advantageous.
  • Proven track record of successful regional collaboration within Asia or APAC environments requiring cross-cultural sensitivity and effective communication.
  • Experience in financial planning processes including analysis and reporting responsibilities within complex organisations.
  • Ability to interpret raw data sets to extrapolate trends and develop accurate financial forecasts that inform strategic decision-making.
  • Meticulous attention to detail combined with strong analytical thinking skills that enable you to identify process improvements quickly.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities enabling you to build trust-based relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
  • Outstanding organisational skills allowing you to manage multiple concurrent projects efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
