Job summary

Univers is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer Intern to join our project delivery team. You will be on-site to support deployment and configuration of the EnOS platform, onboarding IoT devices, and ensuring connectivity across project sites.

You will apply AI tools to analyze platform data, troubleshoot issues in real time, and coordinate with engineering for timely resolutions, while maintaining thorough deployment records and handover documentation for each site.

Qualifications

• Requires undergraduate degree in CS, engineering, IT or related field.
• Genuine interest in AI and hands-on experience using AI tools in real projects or coursework.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to think clearly under pressure.
• Good communication skills; comfortable working with both technical teammates and non-technical users.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, on-site environment; proactive and results-driven.

Responsibilities

• On-site deployment support: assist deployment and configuration of the EnOS platform at project sites, including IoT onboarding and connectivity checks.
• AI-assisted analysis & troubleshooting: use AI tools to analyze platform data, identify anomalies, and accelerate issue resolution on-site.
• Testing & delivery coordination: participate in system integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT); log issues and coordinate with engineering to resolve them.
• Documentation: maintain deployment records, configuration notes, and handover docs for each site.

Role Overview:

The Forward Deployed Engineer Intern will be embedded within our project delivery team, working onsite to support the deployment and configuration of Univers' smart building and energy management platform. The intern will apply AI tools and analytical thinking to accelerate delivery, troubleshoot integration issues in real time, and help end-users get value from the system.
