Forklift Driver (Warehouse / Ship Chandler/ 12 HR Shift)

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take over the order markings for loading from Loading QC.
• Ensure the order markings are prepared according to the DN Summary List.
• Verify that the order markings are ready against the Loading Checklist to ensure no missing pallets.
• Verify that the DN Summary Orders and Loading Checklist for the delivery are prepared before loading.
• Hand over the DN to the Driver and Loading Checklist for Drive acknowledgement after loading.
• Reports to immediate superior and HOD on any quality issues identified.
• Perform work activities assigned efficiently and accurately to maintain the quality of work.
• Ensure proper use of the MHEs and maintenance of the MHEs.
• Compliance with the quality, environmental, health and safety system procedures, work instructions and safe work procedures.
• Maintain the Warehouse Operation area housekeeping.
• Ensure own safety during working in the Warehouse.
• Must be aware of the hazards and risks involved in the work assigned.

WORKING REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum “O” level or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of Warehouse environment experience
• Computer literate
• Good communicator
• Can work independently
• Team player
• Possess a valid Forklift License
• Able to operate the warehouse reach truck / stacker
