Baker Tilly has an incredible career opportunity for a Consultant, Forensic Accountant to join our growing Sydney Forensics, Litigation & Valuation Services (FLVS) team. Consultants on our FLVS team will conduct and prepare a wide range of forensic financial analyses. A Forensic Accountant has a unique job which requires strong analytical, creative, investigative, research, communication, and organizational skills, as well as familiarity with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures. Forensic Accountants will maintain excellent client relationships by delivering high quality client service.

Responsibilities:
Being a trusted member of the team and able to complete most tasks with some supervision.
Assist in performing forensic financial analyses, building models, maintaining documents.
Assist in report writing, and perform quality control procedures on schedules and reports.
Discuss and outline problems/ issues with a manager or Partner and then act on the preferred advice.
Analyze data and financial / non-financial information and apply a forensic approach to the work.
Be flexible and responsive to client needs, being available for meetings at times and places stipulated by the client. This can involve working long days and tight deadlines.
Team player who works well with all team members.
A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
A minimum of 1 year of public accounting or related experience
Working towards the completion of a CA preferred
An interest in forensic accountancy and proven team-working, communication and analytical skills are all essential
Individuals in this position must have demonstrated computer skills and experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Must be willing to work non-traditional business hours to meet client demands if required
Able to work in Singapore without sponsorships
Fluency in English is required
Fluency in Thai, Korean or Japanese is preferred
