Job summary

EY Forensic & Integrity Services in Singapore seeks a data analytics professional to transform large structured and unstructured data into actionable insights. You will collaborate with investigators, auditors and lawyers to identify patterns of fraud and risk, and contribute to data-driven investigations.

The role requires strong IT skills, SQL, Python and visualization tools, and the ability to explain complex findings to non-technical audiences while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and programming languages Python and R; familiarity with data visualization.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyse large volume of structured and unstructured data from various sources.
• Collaborate with clients, investigators, auditors and lawyers in sensitive situations.
• Analyse and mine data to identify patterns of fraud and risk.
• Perform end-to-end data analysis using ETL, visualization, and reporting tools.
• Tackle technical and operational issues with a problem-solving approach.
• Prepare working papers, schedules and reports for stakeholders.
• Present findings clearly to non-technical audiences under tight timelines.
• Keep up with latest forensic data analytics developments and best practices.
