Job description

The candidate would be responsible for coaching, leading the sales team responsible for driving the business development/sales growth for our client's range of foods products.

Focusing on building strong customer relationships and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop sales strategies and plans to achieve the company's revenue targets and market share goals.

  • Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and competitive analysis

  • Lead and motivate a sales team

  • Build and maintain relationships with key accounts.

  • Analyze market data, historical sales trends, and demand patterns to forecast sales volumes and plan inventory levels.

  • Coordinate with production and supply chain teams

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities

  • Develop relationships with potential customers, conduct sales presentations, negotiate deals, and close contracts.

  • Monitor sales performance metrics, such as revenue, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales and marketing strategies.

  • Provide input on product positioning, pricing, promotional activities, and marketing campaigns to maximize sales effectiveness.

  • Develop and manage the sales budget, including sales expenses, incentives, and promotional activities.

  • Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management

  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the FMCG food sector.

  • Collaborate with other departments, such as finance, operations, and logistics, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of sales activities with overall business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Diploma & above Experience

  • Solid background in sales, preferably within the FMCG industry. (Foodservice)

  • Progressive career through various sales roles, gaining hands-on experience in account management, business development, and sales leadership.
