Job summary

OLAM COCOA PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a production operator to operate equipment and facilities in a GMP environment, ensuring safe, efficient blending of cake and pulverizing processes, and monitoring process parameters to optimize output.

The role requires a minimum of GCE 'O' level or Polytechnic Diploma, or Nitec; food production experience is preferred. You will work in a team, follow safety procedures, and participate in quality checks, housekeeping, and routine ISO/GMP tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE 'O' or Diploma from Polytechnic or equivalent.
• Holder of Nitec with some experience in related field.
• Food production experience in a factory environment preferred.
• Familiar with GMP and safety procedures.
• Good troubleshooting skills.
• Basic awareness of industrial standards.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work as a team.
• Attention to details.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment and facilities in assigned section safely and efficiently.
• Blending of cake and operating the pulverizing system.
• Monitors and control of the process parameter to optimize the production output.
• Carries out other related duties as assigned by supervisor such as: Bagging of by product; GMP cleaning; Perform metal detector check; Updating ISO form.
• Inspects and maintain housekeeping of assigned area for clean and safe working conditions; PPE and safety equipment are maintained and ready for use.
• Communicates clearly with supervisor and colleague at the end of the shift by highlighting the production status, output and any items bearing on safety, quality and efficiency.
