Job Overview
We are looking for a Kitchen Packer with a strong background in the food industry, a mindset for continuous improvement and can adapt quickly in a startup environment to join our team in Singapore. The selected candidate will be working in our Central Kitchen alongside other chefs to assist them with preparation of food and kitchen duties.
Responsibilities
Support the in preparing and cooking menu dishes
Prepare food ingredients based on required standards
Monitor and maintain freshness and quality of food items
Cleaning of food preparation areas, cooking surfaces and washing of utensils
Perform kitchen daily operational tasks
Ensure strict adherence to food safety practices, sanitation and hygiene requirement
Maintenance of kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards
Requirements
1 Year(s) working experience in Food & Beverage / Restaurant Service
Familiar with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes
Knowledge of Local, Western and Asian Cuisine, food hygiene and preparation standards
Good communication & interpersonal skills
Positive attitude, eager to learn new skills and able to adapt quickly
Self-driven with good initiative and learning abilities
Team player but able to work independently
Able to start work immediately
