Job summary

An expanding F&B company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Operations Executive/Manager for its food court operations. The successful candidate will oversee the cleanliness and organization of the food court, manage tenant relations, ensure compliance with relevant licenses, and demonstrate leadership and planning skills. Qualifications include a Graduate Diploma and at least 3-5 years in the F&B sector, specifically within food courts, providing a proactive and resourceful approach to operational challenges.

Job description

Chicky Fun Pte Ltd, an upcoming & expanding F&B company with several food outlets and mini restaurants (Dining in, Online & Self-Delivery services) & food courts seeks an experienced individual with the right attributes to take up the challenge of Operations Executive/Manager (FOOD COURT).

Responsibilities: Operations (Food Court)
  1. Oversee tenants, contractors, and ensure customers’ dining experience is excellent through maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the food court, serving good food, and providing excellent service. Attend to hygiene & cleaning matters, pest control contracts, & NEA personnel as required. Address tenants’ needs for cutleries, POS machine issues, and online delivery operations.
  2. Assist in sourcing tenants to replace outgoing ones as necessary. Handle tenant enquiries regarding tenancy agreements. Manage staff roster deployment in conjunction with HR. Liaise with Sales, Marketing, and Product Managers on tenants' needs, menu, and online delivery matters. Ensure compliance with licenses & permits (SFA, Halal Certification FSC, NEA, etc.) in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  3. Overall responsibility for food court operations & related activities. Review processes for continuous improvement.
  4. Conduct staff training & appraisal, including discipline, in liaison with HR.
  5. Prepare monthly & ad-hoc reports, participate in meetings, presentations, and Zoom meetings with management & supervisors (chefs).
  6. Undertake any other ad-hoc projects/tasks assigned by MD.
Attributes & Qualifications
  • Graduate Diploma & above.
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Food & Beverage business, with Food Courts preferred.
  • Planning skills with excellent communication.
  • Resourceful, able to work with different stakeholders, a team player, and articulate well.
  • Demonstrate leadership through hands-on efforts, good listening, and problem-solving skills. Proactive in planning tasks & projects. Able to react quickly to urgent situations to resolve issues effectively.
