Job summary

Une entreprise de premier plan recherche un Associate Chemist pour un contrat d'un an à Boon Lay, Singapour. Le candidat sera responsable de l'analyse d'échantillons à l'aide d'instruments avancés tels que l'ICP-MS. Ce poste exige un diplôme en Chimie ou une discipline connexe et une expérience pertinente en laboratoire.

Qualifications

• Diplôme de Bachelor en Chimie ou domaines connexes requis.
• Expérience en ICP-MS et tests de métaux lourds souhaitée.
• Connaissance de l'accréditation ISO17025 est un plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyse d'échantillons à l'aide d'instruments avancés comme l'ICP-MS.
• Validation des résultats et assurance de l'intégrité des données.
• Maintenance préventive des instruments.

Job description

Job Title: Associate Chemist ( 1 Year Contract )

Salary Range:

• Up to $5,000/month

Location:
Boon Lay, Singapore

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform sample analysis using advanced instrumentation (e.g. ICP-MS) to meet turnaround time (TAT) requirements
• Validate results and ensure data integrity
• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on instruments
• Investigate and resolve analytical issues with root cause analysis
• Review technical documentation in accordance with quality standards
• Support internal audits and address findings effectively
• Maintain laboratory inventory and ensure uninterrupted analysis operations
• Liaise with internal teams and external vendors for technical matters
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and 5S housekeeping practices
• Participate in method validation/verification where applicable

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science, or Analytical Sciences
• Experience in ICP-MS and heavy metal testing
• Familiarity with ISO17025 accreditation and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)
