Food & Beverage Manager

Responsibilities:

1. Develop sales strategies to meet the business objective of the restaurants/function rooms.
2. Responsible for restaurants/function rooms’ sales and profitability.
3. Involve in the strategic planning of marketing activities, such as promotional events and discount schemes.
4. Prepare reports at the end of the shift, including revenue report, Materials Control requisition, and updating of daily performance report for outlets and events.
5. Assist the Director of Food & Beverage in preparing yearly budget, including Capex proposal.
6. Plan staff schedule, restaurants’ menus, and beverage list.
7. Build rapport with patrons or diners, update database information, and handle guest comments/complaints.
8. Check staff’s grooming, conduct briefing, and counsel staff whenever necessary.
9. Handle restaurants’ reservations and special requests from guests.
10. Ensure that the administrative tasks assigned to Restaurant Managers, Assistant Managers, Restaurant Executives, or Senior Captains, such as requisition, operating equipment control, plus inventory and other tasks are dutifully completed.
11. Conduct site inspections for restaurants/function rooms to meet guests’ requirements.
12. Responsible for recruiting suitable staff to run the operation of the restaurants and function rooms.
13. Ensure high standards of food quality control, good hygiene practices, and safety awareness in the restaurants/function rooms.
14. Help in any area of the restaurants/function rooms when circumstances dictate.
15. Train and mentor junior staff.
16. Perform any tasks or duties as may be assigned from time to time by the management.
