Overview
- Food & Beverage Captain (Restaurant) – Lead and demonstrate the basics (smile, greeting, responding, organization, safety, house rules and others); familiarise the whole floor operation; able to carry out the role of every floor position (Host, server, cashier and others).
- Provide effective reporting and discussions with direct reports; ensure a high quality of service and deliver an excellent dining experience to all customers.
- Serve foods and drinks quickly, ensuring correct presentation, temperature and portion; respond to questions or comments professionally and effectively. Report, discuss or consult with Outlet Manager directly.
- Ensure drink bar ingredients stay fresh and follow FEFO (first expired, first out) standard; manage all outlet stocks such as drink bar items, disposable items and others.
- Assist with month-end stock take; ensure the outlet (floor and drink bar area) remains clean and maintains excellent hygiene standards.
- Ensure outlet housekeeping is carried out as scheduled; ensure team members follow the service manual and monitor progress for new team members.
- Understand and support kitchen operation.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years’ experience in the service industry
- Passion for the F&B industry with proven experience in delivering excellent customer experiences
- Proven experience in leading teams; strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to multitask and manage change in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to engage in shift work, which includes work on weekends and public holidays
