Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced F&B Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dessert shop. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, a customer-first mindset, and a deep understanding of food and beverage operations, especially in a café or dessert-focused setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Operations:
Manage day-to-day shop operations including opening/closing procedures, cleanliness, and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. - Team Management:
Lead, train, and schedule front-of-house and kitchen staff. Foster a positive and productive team environment. - Customer Service:
Ensure excellent customer service standards are met. Handle feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally. - Inventory & Ordering:
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock rotation to minimize wastage. - Sales & Profitability:
Monitor sales performance, implement strategies to boost revenue, and control costs to meet profitability targets. - Menu Coordination:
Work closely with chefs or dessert makers to maintain and improve product offerings. Suggest seasonal items and promotional ideas. - Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations including food hygiene, health & safety, and licensing requirements. - Reporting:
Maintain records of sales, expenses, staff performance, and customer feedback. Provide regular reports to management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an F&B Manager, Restaurant Manager, or similar role
- Experience in café, dessert shop, or pastry operations is a strong advantage
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and operational procedures
- Customer-focused with a strong sense of hospitality
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in POS systems and basic financial reporting
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
Bonus Skills (Optional but Preferred):
- Knowledge of trending desserts and market insights
- Basic barista or pastry-making skills
- Marketing or social media experience to promote the shop
