Job Description
Responsible for all food and beverage business activities, including sales, customer service, and promotions, ensuring budget and customer satisfaction targets are met, along with maintaining food quality and service standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversees daily operations and achieves targets.
- Works with management to forecast sales, covers, and payroll costs.
- Supervises daily operations and staffing coverage.
- Assigns responsibilities to supervisors based on their strengths.
- Ensures all duties and services meet hotel standards.
- Adheres to timelines and maintains quality in food, beverage, and service.
- Participates in briefings and updates policies in absence of the manager.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of menus, bar, and wine operations.
- Establishes, trains, and executes sales and marketing plans.
- Ensures cleanliness and proper appearance of the restaurant and related areas.
- Familiarizes with hotel systems like Micros, Avero, and Material Control.
Providing a Leading Guest Experience:
- Engages proactively in guest service and promotes sales.
- Gathers guest feedback to ensure satisfaction and build loyalty.
- Handles complaints swiftly and professionally.
- Personalizes guest experiences according to hotel standards.
- Builds strong relationships with local guests and maintains confidentiality.
Management and Leadership of Outlet:
- Acts as a mentor and role model, demonstrating leadership and market knowledge.
- Engages actively in guest service and supports colleagues during major meal periods.
- Conducts team training, performance reviews, and manages disciplinary issues.
- Ensures safety, security, grooming, and hygiene standards.
- Participates in recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training.
- Attends meetings, reviews performance, and follows up on projects.
Marketing and Revenue Management:
- Addresses guest inquiries and feedback confidently.
- Recommends revenue-enhancing initiatives like promotions.
- Implements cost control measures and analyzes sales reports.
Team Training and Development:
- Conducts on-the-job training and maintains training records.
- Guides new hires and ensures compliance with hotel policies and safety procedures.
Other Responsibilities:
- Performs additional duties as assigned, coordinating with various teams to ensure efficiency.
- Continually develops personal leadership skills and ensures compliance with NEA regulations.
