Job summary

Lilac Summers in Singapore is seeking a skilled Florist for a permanent part-time role. The position focuses on retail bouquets, arrangements and studio production, with morning shifts and roughly four hours per day.

You will create beautiful arrangements to our design direction, handle orders, prepare items for delivery and maintain high quality in a fast-paced studio environment. CPF contributions apply.

PERMANENT PART-TIME FLORIST

Lilac Summers — Singapore

Lilac Summers is looking for a skilled and reliable Florist to join our team on a permanent part-time basis.

We are a fashion-focused floral studio specialising in retail bouquets, floral arrangements, events and creative floral projects.

This is a hands-on floristry role. Our main focus is retail floral production, and we are looking for someone who can independently create beautiful, well-constructed work while maintaining the quality standards of the studio.

POSITION

• Permanent Part-Time Florist


• Monday–Friday


• Approximately 4 hours per day


• Morning hours: 9am–1pm or 10am–2pm


• Some flexibility with working hours can be discussed


• S$14–18/hour, depending on experience and skill level


• CPF contributions in accordance with Singapore regulations

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Retail Floristry — MAIN RESPONSIBILITY

• Create retail bouquets independently


• Create floral arrangements and vase arrangements


• Follow the studio's floral recipes, proportions and design direction


• Prepare and complete customer orders to a high standard


• Ensure every arrangement is well-balanced, fresh and professionally finished


• Maintain HIGH STANDARDS OF QUALITY across all floral work


• Prepare and package orders for delivery

Flower Care & Studio Production

• Receive and process incoming flowers


• Condition and prepare flowers according to proper floristry techniques


• Maintain flower hydration, freshness and quality
  
• Organise and maintain flower stock


• Maintain a clean, organised and efficient studio


• Prepare flowers, vessels and materials for upcoming orders

Events & Other Studio Work

• Assist with event preparation and floral installations when required


• Assist with deliveries and event-related preparation


• Support the team with general floral production and studio operations

MUST HAVE

• Minimum 1 year of professional retail floristry experience


• Confident with basic flower conditioning and flower care


• Able to independently make retail bouquets and basic floral arrangements


• Good understanding of floral mechanics, proportion and composition


• Strong attention to detail


• Able to take responsibility for the quality and final presentation of your work


• Reliable, organised and able to work independently


• Comfortable working in a fast-paced studio environment

TRAINING & GROWTH

You do not need to know everything from day one.

We will train you in the Lilac Summers style, techniques and creative approach, and there is an opportunity to grow with the company as your skills develop.
