Zusammenfassung

FIRST FIX CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a tile installer to perform surface preparation, measure and plan layouts, cut and shape tiles, and install with precise alignment. You will also finish and grout to achieve durable, polished surfaces.

Applicants should have 2–3 years of construction or renovation experience, strong stamina, and safe operation of tile-cutting tools. Outdoor/non-climate work and manual precision are expected.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant construction or renovation experience.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work outdoors or in non-climate-controlled areas.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure alignment, levelness and zero tile breakage.
• Reading blueprints and measuring areas to calculate material needs and plan tile layouts.
• Safe operation of tile-cutting machines, wet saws, notched trowels, and leveling instruments.

Aufgaben

• Surface Preparation: Clean, level, and apply waterproofing materials or lath to floors and walls before installation.
• Measuring and Planning: Read blueprints and measure areas to calculate material needs and plan tile layouts.
• Cutting and Shaping: Cut ceramic, stone, marble, or mosaic tiles to fit precise dimensions, corners, and obstacles using hand and power tools.
• Installing and Aligning: Spread adhesives, mortar, or cement beds and set tiles evenly using levels, squares, and straightedges.
• Finishing and Grouting: Apply grout to seal gaps, wipe clean, and polish finished surfaces.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials, kneel for extended periods, and work in non-climate-controlled or outdoor environments.
• Attention to Detail: Strong manual precision to ensure alignment, levelness, and zero tile breakage.
