Job summary

EDP APAC is seeking an Asset Operations & Maintenance Supervisor to lead the development of maintenance programmes for a renewable asset portfolio, including preventive and corrective activities and backlog management. The role involves coordinating with multiple teams to align resources, schedules and compliance, while leveraging data analytics and AI-enabled planning to optimise asset performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Analytics or similar.
• Typically 4–8 years in maintenance engineering, operations or asset management.
• Experience with preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programmes.
• Experience analysing maintenance histories, failure patterns and asset data.
• Experience with CMMS/EAM systems including work orders and asset master data.
• Experience coordinating maintenance with engineering, operations, contractors and procurement.
• Knowledge of AI-enabled maintenance applications is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual to weekly maintenance programmes for the solar asset portfolio.
• Establish preventive maintenance activities and frequencies based on equipment requirements and regulations.
• Consolidate corrective maintenance triggers from Monitoring, Asset Management, Technical Engineers and Cluster Leads.
• Include shutdown windows, site-access restrictions and resource constraints in the programme.
• Maintain a forward workload forecast for manpower, contractors and materials.
• Develop and maintain a transparent prioritisation model considering safety, risk, asset availability and other factors.
• Generate prioritised work-order packages for each cluster and identify critical, urgent, routine and deferrable activities.
• Maintain backlog view and escalate high-risk or long-outstanding work to the Head of Asset Operations.
• Develop dashboards covering maintenance delivery, backlog, response time and asset reliability.
• Apply AI-assisted modelling to forecast workload and improve prioritisation.
