Job summary

You will perform inspections, replace parts, troubleshoot faults, document maintenance, and support workshop operations. Experience with ambulances, fire-fighting vehicles, or fleet maintenance is a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and repair tools.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read technical manuals and service procedures.
• Valid driving licence (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance according to schedules and manufacturer recommendations.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults; repair or replace components.
• Carry out engine, transmission, suspension, braking, and cooling system repairs.
• Complete job cards and maintenance records accurately; update systems as required.
• Maintain tools, equipment and workshop areas in safe, clean condition.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and use PPE at all times.
