Job summary

Tap Growth ai seeks a seasoned Marine Engineer to lead the technical performance and reliability of our vessel fleet in Singapore. You will oversee maintenance programs, dry-docking coordination, and upgrades to maximize efficiency and safety.

You will collaborate with Masters, Chief Engineers, and regulators, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvements. A degree in Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture and a valid COE are highly valued, with 5–8 years of sea-going or shore-based

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture.
• Marine Engineer Certificate of Competency highly desirable.
• Experience with maintenance planning and budgets is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the technical performance and readiness of assigned vessels.
• Monitor maintenance programs and ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate dry-docking, repairs, surveys, and upgrades.
• Review performance data and improve efficiency and reliability.
• Liaise with Masters, Chief Engineers, and authorities on technical matters.
• Ensure compliance with class, regulatory, and company standards.
• Prepare and manage vessel technical budgets and parts expenditure.
• Evaluate defects and arrange corrective actions.
• Conduct inspections and audits to assess condition and safety.
• Support investigations and risk assessments across the fleet.
