Job summary

Arcadia Shipping Pte. Ltd. requires a Marine Engineering leader to oversee a fleet of LPG, gas and chemical tankers, setting technical strategy and maintenance standards to ensure safe, compliant and commercially effective operations.

You will drive major repairs, dry-dockings and capital projects, provide technical oversight of cargo systems, monitor KPIs, and lead a team of Technical Superintendents for reliable, cost-efficient performance across international voyages.

Qualifications

Marine Engineer Officer Class 1 certification or equivalent.
Substantial sea-going experience on LPG, gas and chemical tankers.
Strong leadership and crew development capabilities.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic technical leadership for LPG, gas and chemical vessels.
Oversee major repairs, dry dockings, and capital projects from planning to delivery.
Ensure compliance with class, flag, IMO, statutory and audits; lead inspection readiness.
Oversee cargo systems; ensure safety and reliability of containment, reliquefaction, inert gas and related systems.
Monitor fleet KPIs; drive root-cause analysis and cost optimisation without compromising safety.
Lead Technical Superintendents and develop seagoing staff; manage budgets and vendors.
