TYSON JAY MANAGEMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced backend software engineer to design services for robot assignment, scheduling, and fleet management in warehouse settings.

You will develop scalable backend components, APIs and messaging interfaces that enable reliable communication across distributed systems. The role emphasizes algorithms, concurrency and networking, with responsibilities spanning simulation, testing, deployment and performance optimisation in a modern robotics software

Qualifications

• Strong backend software engineering via Python, C++, Java or Go.
• Sound knowledge of algorithms, data structures, concurrency, networking and OO design.
• Experience with REST APIs, WebSockets, MQTT, TCP/IP and asynchronous messaging.
• Experience in fleet management, robotics, warehouse automation or distributed software systems.

Responsibilities

• Design software services for robot assignment, task dispatch and mission execution.
• Develop scheduling and robot-selection algorithms for changing operational priorities.
• Build traffic-management, resource-locking and deadlock-prevention capabilities.
• Implement charging coordination and robot-availability management.
• Integrate fleet services with warehouse systems and third-party robot platforms.
• Develop reliable APIs and messaging interfaces for distributed system communication.
• Build monitoring, state-management and diagnostic capabilities.
• Participate in simulation, system testing, commissioning, deployment and performance optimisation.
