Job description

“I can succeed as a Fixed Income Portfolio Analysis Senior Analyst.”

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist with constructing portfolios based on investment convictions communicated by fixed income professionals. Prepare and review orders based on portfolio analysis and send them for review.
  2. Monitor portfolio risk metrics by generating reports and creating models to support decision-making.
  3. Coordinate New Issue (NI) order activity between Trading, Fixed Income Investment Group, and Global Investment Control.
  4. Review daily activity for client accounts and funds. Implement asset allocation, currency, and duration hedging. Monitor cash flows, assist with account start-ups and closures, and analyze options for restructuring portfolios.
  5. Serve as a resource for portfolio construction inquiries and cross-functional projects within the Fixed Income teams.
  6. Partner with CFII to implement strategic portfolio decisions made by the Capital Solutions Group.
  7. Participate in team projects and process improvements, identifying opportunities, developing policies, and collaborating on project plans.
  8. Assist with creating and implementing new portfolio structures, troubleshooting system issues, and training new associates.
Qualifications:
  • Self-driven with an understanding of how and why processes, technology, and the financial industry interconnect.
  • Knowledge of Fixed Income, portfolio analysis, implementation, compliance, policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Understanding of Global Investment Control and Capital Group operations.
  • Knowledge of securities, investment processes, and the ability to apply this knowledge.
  • Effective communication skills with diverse groups, including senior leaders and investment professionals.
