“I can succeed as a Fixed Income Portfolio Analysis Senior Analyst.”
Responsibilities:
- Assist with constructing portfolios based on investment convictions communicated by fixed income professionals. Prepare and review orders based on portfolio analysis and send them for review.
- Monitor portfolio risk metrics by generating reports and creating models to support decision-making.
- Coordinate New Issue (NI) order activity between Trading, Fixed Income Investment Group, and Global Investment Control.
- Review daily activity for client accounts and funds. Implement asset allocation, currency, and duration hedging. Monitor cash flows, assist with account start-ups and closures, and analyze options for restructuring portfolios.
- Serve as a resource for portfolio construction inquiries and cross-functional projects within the Fixed Income teams.
- Partner with CFII to implement strategic portfolio decisions made by the Capital Solutions Group.
- Participate in team projects and process improvements, identifying opportunities, developing policies, and collaborating on project plans.
- Assist with creating and implementing new portfolio structures, troubleshooting system issues, and training new associates.
Qualifications:
- Self-driven with an understanding of how and why processes, technology, and the financial industry interconnect.
- Knowledge of Fixed Income, portfolio analysis, implementation, compliance, policies, procedures, and systems.
- Understanding of Global Investment Control and Capital Group operations.
- Knowledge of securities, investment processes, and the ability to apply this knowledge.
- Effective communication skills with diverse groups, including senior leaders and investment professionals.
