Maersk Line Repairman Position

Maersk Line is interested in receiving applications from qualified, experienced seafarers for the position of Repairman on Container Vessels. This role offers a key position in the world's largest container shipping company, providing challenging opportunities to contribute, develop competencies, and work on technically advanced vessels with the latest machinery.

As a Repairman, you will have the opportunity to influence and optimize efficiency and procedures, aligned with the increasing empowerment of our vessels. Your responsibilities include:

  1. Carrying out all tasks related to the Repairman role, including practical assignments and risk assessments.
  2. Communicating effectively in English regarding safety, drills, environmental assessments, and onboard maintenance and repair instructions.
  3. Executing repair and maintenance tasks to ensure safe and efficient vessel operation.
  4. Assisting with security duties under the supervision of the Ship Security Officer (SSO).
  5. Ensuring compliance with work and rest hour planning, and reporting any challenges in rest hour compliance to the Second Engineer or Chief Engineer.

Requirements include:

  1. Minimum of 12 months of rank experience on foreign-going ships.
  2. Valid 6G certificate and STCW certificates.
