Job Description: Interior Fit-Out ManagerPosition Title: Interior Fit-Out ManagerLocation: New DelhiReports to: Project Manager / Senior ManagerDepartment: Construction / Project ManagementJob Type: Full-TimeJob Overview:The Interior Fit-Out Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of interior fit-out projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and within budget and time constraints. This includes working with designers, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to deliver functional, aesthetically pleasing, and cost-effective interior spaces.Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Coordination: Manage the overall interior fit-out process, from initial design development to project completion. Collaborate with architects, designers, and clients to ensure the project meets requirements and specifications. Review and analyze architectural and design drawings, ensuring they are accurate and feasible for execution. Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all milestones are achieved on time. Budget & Cost Management: Prepare and manage the budget for interior fit-out projects, ensuring all expenditures are within the allocated costs. Monitor project costs and expenses, including procurement of materials, labor, and equipment. Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality or design. Team Leadership & Supervision: Lead, manage, and coordinate the activities of site teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and other personnel involved in the fit-out process. Conduct regular meetings with internal teams and contractors to ensure smooth execution of work. Provide direction and supervision to ensure that the team meets project deadlines and quality standards. Quality Control & Safety Management: Ensure that all work meets the specified quality standards and is in compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and health and safety requirements. Conduct regular inspections of the site to ensure the work is progressing according to plan. Identify and mitigate risks related to construction, safety, and project execution. Client & Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing concerns, providing progress updates, and managing expectations. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure design, functionality, and aesthetic goals are met. Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Procurement & Supply Chain Management: Manage the procurement of materials, furnishings, and finishes required for interior fit-out projects. Liaise with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and coordination with the construction schedule. Ensure the quality of materials and finishes meets the design and project requirements. Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed project reports, including progress, timelines, and cost reports, for senior management. Maintain accurate documentation of all phases of the project, including contracts, change orders, permits, and compliance certificates.Qualifications and Skills: Education: A degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred. Experience: Proven experience 3+ Years in managing interior fit-out projects, ideally in a managerial role. Strong understanding of interior design principles, construction processes, and building regulations. Experience in working with designers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders on large-scale projects. Skills: Strong project management skills, with experience in budget management, scheduling, and cost control. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge of building materials, finishes, and construction techniques. Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore) and basic office software (e.g., MS Office, AutoCAD). Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address and resolve project-related issues effectively. Certifications: Project Management certifications (PMP, Prince2) or equivalent are a plus. Health and Safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH) are beneficial.Work Conditions: Full-time position with regular office and site visits. May require occasional evening or weekend work to meet project deadlines. Ability to travel to various job sites as needed.Key Attributes: Strong attention to detail.
