About the Department

The Credit Review team conducts detailed credit analyses based on borrower information, publicly available data, and evaluations of credit needs and repayment ability across various products, adhering to organizational credit standards.

Corporate & Commercial Banking provides banking loan products and advice to a range of clients from small businesses to large corporations, including market middle-market, business banking, and corporate and transaction banking. It covers activities related to development, origination, and management of banking loan products, advice, and trade financing for major market clients, including large local companies, financial institutions, and multinationals.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare credit ratings and periodic financial reviews for GFFS borrowers, ensuring timely completion of credit reviews.
• Evaluate the creditworthiness and financial obligations of clients for traditional and structured banking products.
• Assess transactions against credit standards and internal policies.
• Structure proposals aligned with borrower needs and bank risk appetite.
• Ensure accuracy of internal credit rating factors using appropriate models.
• Stay informed on industry developments from regulatory, market, and credit perspectives.
• Coordinate with internal teams across head office, branches, and subsidiaries.
• Collaborate on business and financial analysis to identify opportunities and gaps.
• Supervise and train junior analysts.
• Participate in client meetings and documentation discussions as needed.
• Contribute to ad-hoc projects like stress testing and RWA optimization.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Banking, or Finance preferred.
• Relevant experience in credit analysis for Global Funds & Financial Sponsors clients.
• Strong understanding of credit risk, financial analysis, and real assets structuring.
• Knowledge of banking products and associated risks.
• Resourceful, proactive, and a team player with a positive attitude.
• Self-driven, motivated, and dynamic.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
