Job summary

BeathChapman Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an IT Business Analyst (Trading & Settlements) to join the expanding Applications team as the first dedicated BA. You will translate business needs into clear system requirements and work with in-house developers, external vendors and project teams to deliver technology changes across trading and settlement platforms.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services.
Understanding of trade lifecycle from execution to settlement.
Depth in FX, futures or securities; exposure to more than one is a plus.
Strong post-trade and settlement knowledge including reconciliation.
Ability to write specifications for developers and run test scenarios.

Responsibilities

Act as the link between business stakeholders, technology teams and vendors on trading, post-trade and settlement projects.
Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and technical docs.
Map current and future-state processes, including data movement and system touchpoints.
Support new initiatives and enhancements to trading, back-office and settlement platforms.
Prepare user stories, acceptance criteria and test scenarios, validate changes through UAT.
