DRAKO FIRE ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced drafter who understands SCDF requirements and can prepare fire safety plans and building plans for submission.

You will design to compliance, work with a Qualified Person (QP) to review and endorse drawings, and coordinate with clients and SCDF on submissions. The role involves site surveys and managing several submissions at once. The team is small and the workload is stable across maintenance, installation and submission

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience preparing fire safety plans or building plans for SCDF submission.
• Strong working knowledge of the SCDF Fire Code.
• Diploma or certificate in architecture, building services, M&E or a related field is an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Prepare fire safety plans, building plans and as-built drawings for SCDF submissions, including A&A works, change of use and Fire Safety Certificate applications
• Design fire protection layouts (fire alarm, sprinkler, hose reel, emergency lighting, exit signage and escape routes) in line with the SCDF Fire Code
• Carry out site surveys and measurements where needed
• Coordinate with QPs, clients and SCDF on submissions, comments and resubmissions
• Prepare submissions through CORENET / CORENET X
• Keep up to date with changes to the Fire Code and SCDF circulars

About the role

We are looking for an experienced drafter who understands SCDF requirements and can prepare fire safety plans and building plans for submission. You will design to compliance, and our appointed Qualified Person (QP) will review and endorse your drawings.

What we are looking for

• Strong working knowledge of the SCDF Fire Code
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Able to work independently and manage several submissions at once
• Diploma or certificate in architecture, building services, M&E or a related field is an advantage
