Core Responsibilities
Market and Consumer Understanding
- In-depth market and consumer cross-category understanding (fine fragrances, beauty, luxury air care – from global and SEAO perspective)
- Macro Trends, Product launches and Olfactive Trends analysis to understand consumer preferences
Marketing Strategy and Planning
- Establish SEAO Fine Fragrances Marketing road map aligned and supportive of business, development and commercial initiatives.
- Work with Sales and Creative Development to contribute to building the Fine Fragrance SEAO Strategy, Givaudan Fine Fragrances SEAO Capabilities, and support key clients projects – proactive and reactive.
- Drive innovation by experimenting with new tools and approaches to yield fresh insights and bring “newness” that drives differentiation.
Marketing programs and events
- Work with cross-regional and cross-category counterparts to agree marketing programmes and to align processes and organisation
- Lead design of marketing programmes to address client needs and differentiate Givaudan
- Develop and implement best practices
People Management
- Coach and guide Graphic Designer Studio
Academic Background
- University Degree/Business/Marketing or (or equivalent)
Professional Experience
- 15+ years industry experience within relevant marketing function

- Understands, and utilizes information from Givaudan systems

- Ability to develop and deliver a strategic vision for the future
- Strong ability to analyze consumer data to strengthen consumer awareness and understanding
Marketing Skills
- Expert understanding of B2B and B2C marketing principles
- Thorough knowledge of all Givaudan’s marketing and promotional programmes and can apply/communicate them effectively
- Demonstrates thorough knowledge of Giv. Branding guidelines
Sensory and Olfactory Skills
- Demonstrates competent olfactory skills, can recognize olfactory notes and communicate in fragrance language
Communication and Presentation Skills
- Develops and delivers compelling and strategic presentations
Project Management
- Manages multiple priorities and projects by self and team members under time/budget constraints across clients
People Management
- Ability to lead, coach, guide and manage team members
Innovation
- Has expertise in innovation processes and is able to lead the application of the right innovation principles to the fragrance creation process to deliver the next block busters based on deep consumer and category insights
