Job Overview

Hiring Finance Specialist at a US Pharmaceutical Company

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage Source to Settle (STS) and Order to Cash (OTC) processes across APAC, primarily for the Japan market

• STS scope: vendor onboarding, PO processing, invoice handling, employee expenses, corporate card, payments, and month-end support

• OTC scope: customer and credit management, cash application, collections, order management, and month-end activities

• Support audits, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and drive continuous process improvements

• Define and monitor service standards and KPIs, maintain internal controls and compliance

• Open to occasional business travel within Asia and flexible with potential role rotation or scope changes

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in STS/OTC (shared service experience preferred)

• Business-level fluency in Japanese (N1 equivalent) and English * Necessary for internal/external communication

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; professional certification (ACA/ACCA/CPA) preferred

• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, SOX compliance, and audit processes

• Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems; proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office

• Proactive, detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple priorities

• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively in multicultural environments

Additional Information

• Expected Salary:Around 5,000/ month ＋VB (around 10% of annual salary)
