We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Risk Manager with a strong actuarial background to join our growing team in the insurance sector. This role will focus on financial risk management while also offering the opportunity to contribute to and gain exposure in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) frameworks and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the assessment, monitoring, and reporting of key financial risks, including market, credit, liquidity, and insurance risks.
Develop and maintain financial risk models and tools in line with regulatory and internal requirements.
Support the Risk function in embedding a strong risk culture across the organization.
Collaborate with actuarial, finance, investment, and business teams to ensure effective risk identification and control.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of the company’s ERM framework, policies, and processes.
Prepare risk reports for senior management, risk committees, and regulators.
Support ORSA (Own Risk and Solvency Assessment) and stress testing exercises.
Assist in scenario analysis, capital adequacy assessments, and strategic risk planning.
Requirements:
Actuarial background with strong progression in actuarial exams (qualification not required).
5–10 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry.
Proven experience in financial risk management (FRM) is essential.
Exposure to or interest in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is a strong advantage.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights effectively.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and a keen eye for detail.
